Remember when you called a girl, on the phone (the ONLY phone) in your house, located, by the way, in the kitchen so the WHOLE family could listen to you, and asked her to the prom and she basically said "Yes" or "No" right on the spot? And, if she had any class at all, the answer was , of course, "Yes". Ahh, simpler times!

I have to chuckle. My first thought was how much plastic wrap is now missing from mother's food storage?
I remember talking to Stan for hours on the phone. Much of the time there was silence as we were thinking of what to say. Yes, times have changed.
